A lot has happened since I first started this project so I thought I would update you guys on all the changes. First of all, my inspiration I are no longer together. While it was difficult to part ways we do still remain apart of each other's lives as friends. After all, he is the inspiration for why I started this project and I'm going to continue to support him no matter what. Second, I am no longer a high school senior (yay!!). I am now a freshman at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm majoring in sports management and minoring in business. I just finished my first week of classes and everything is going great so far! I look forward to continuing this project while I'm in college, but with a few changes. I will no longer be able to hand out letter packets to people. Unfortunately, I'm not able to mail the packets outs. From now on when someone signs up I will only be emailing you the name and address of the person you have adopted. However, I will still continue to post the needs and wants of the adopted troops on this page. Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far. Continue to spread the word and adopt more troops! God Bless
Sailor Karla Valdez was adopted out today. She is in need of hygiene products, hair products, snacks, blankets, pillows, sheets, pillow cases, and foot spray. As always, anything helps. Thank you to Jalesa for adopting Karla.
Kenneth Lebon was adopted out today. He is in need of deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, mouthwash, protein bars, cereal, trail mix, and chocolate. Thank you to Brittany for adopting Kenneth.
Soldier Tyler Greer was adopted out today. Any kind of care package would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to Mark Hudson for adopting Tyler!
Sailor David Johnson was adopted out today! He is a flight crew chief currently located on a ship. They could really use camelbacks, microvwabale foods, gatorade, socks, leather gloves, cloth masks, under armour clothing (M-2XL), and anything else that might help keep them cool. They could really use carepackages, as they don't receive hardly any from back home. Thank you to the Alvar
LCpl Jaramillo was adopted out today. Him and his unit do have access to a microwave and refridgerator and they could always use snacks and games. They recieve little to no packages and would love to get something from back home. Thank you to Marisol for adopting Hector.
PV2 McManus was adopted out today. He is a soldier part of a large unit of men. He could really use hygiene items, pens, pencils, notebooks, protein bars, snacks, and homemade cookies! Thank you to Wendy for adopting PV2 McManus.
I just got a TON of new names and addresses so if you all could please sign up before they reach the mail stop dates this fall. I have tons and tons and tons of Army names, a couple Marine and Navy names, and several females as well. I don't currently have any new Coast Guard or Air Force names, but if you really want one of those two I don't mind repeating as they love getting as many letters and packages as possible. Please keep signing up and encouraging your friends. Remember, it's okay to sign up more than once :)
It was prom weekend with my Marine! We had so much fun and I'm so thankful he was able to be my date this year. Hope everyone is doing well. Please continue to sign up!
